Aim: Weʼre raising £250 to give to St Petrocs, Truro and help end homelessness in Cornwall
To help end homelessness in Cornwall, because every person has a right to a safe and secure home.
St Petrocs was the first organisation in Cornwall set up to provide accommodation to meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness, who often fall outside the statutory responsibility of the local authority. Offering support to those who have nowhere else to go it acts as the last line of defence against someone having to sleep outside.
Shockingly, In October 2022, St Petrocs worked with 119 people sleeping rough in Cornwall, a 26% increase compared to the previous month and the highest on record.
Right now their ‘Winter Services’ team is working to ensure nobody is left outside alone over the coldest months of the year.
