This December, we’re hosting a very special Festive Fun-Paddle Fundraiser with Omega Outdoor Adventure, and we need your help to cover the running costs of this exciting event. Your generous donation will ensure we can run the event smoothly while raising vital funds to make paddlesports more inclusive for everyone.
While we are thrilled for the event itself, the funds we raise will directly support the ongoing costs of hosting and organising, from adaptive equipment to logistics, safety gear, and more.
🛶 How Your Donation Helps:
Your support will help cover the running costs of the event, which include:
- **Adaptive equipment** for participants with additional needs, ensuring they can enjoy paddlesports in a safe and supportive environment.
- **Safety gear and logistical costs** to ensure all participants have the equipment they need for a safe and enjoyable experience.
- **Event infrastructure and staffing costs**, including volunteer support and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day.
Additionally, all funds raised will be shared between two local CICs, each providing essential paddling programs to our community:
1. Nurture Community CIC
Your contribution will support inclusive paddling sessions for SEND schools and local youth and adult groups, helping them complete 6-week paddling courses and earn Paddle Award certificates to celebrate their progress.
2. Ruby’s Yard CIC
Your donation will help maintain their **Paddle-Ability club**, providing adaptive equipment and enabling individuals who face barriers to paddlesports the chance to paddle regularly in a safe, social setting.
