Aim

Help us bring SUCCUBUS to life A new horror-comedy play from burlesque performer Georgina Collins aka Strawberry Duvall. It'll be delicious!

Ever had the doc tell you "don't worry love, it's just your hormones"?

Or have to suppress your monstrous urges, afraid of being labelled hysterical, a freak, a b***h?

Feel like something is stirring inside of you and you've no place to turn?

You're not alone.

What better way to speak to the female experience than with a horror comedy one-woman show? You can help us bring SUCCUBUS to life, in all its gore and glory.

With your support, we can hire rehearsal space, ensure our incredible creative team is fairly compensated, experiment with stage gore, and help this debut play reach a wide audience!

For the monstrous women who deal daily with transforming bodies, medical dismissal, casual chauvinism, objectification, risk of violence, body shaming - SUCCUBUS is for you.

Our Story & Vision

SUCCUBUS is a bold new horror comedy written and performed by Georgina Collins (aka burlesque artist Strawberry Duvall) and produced by Halfway Productions. Born from Georgina’s own experiences navigating unexplained hormonal changes and medical dismissal, the show began as a deeply personal inquiry into female biology and grew into a darkly funny, unapologetic exploration of sexuality, identity, and power. Blending gore, wit, and heart, SUCCUBUS celebrates the “monstrous feminine” and asks what happens when women are allowed to be transgressive - to feel shame, desire, rage, and pleasure without punishment.

Directed by Grainne Robson, a London-based theatre-maker specialising in new writing and comedy, the show brings humour to horror and tenderness to terror. Halfway Productions - a new company led by theatre PRs Zara Jayant and Emily Ritchie - exists to champion emerging voices and make ambitious, entertaining theatre for audiences who don’t quite know where they fit yet. Following our debut collaboration The Publicist (Camden Fringe 2025), SUCCUBUS is our next step in telling fearless, audience-facing stories by and for women and LGBTQ+ communities.

Why We Need Your Support

Taking a show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is an incredible opportunity - and a huge financial undertaking, especially for early-career artists and independent companies. The money we raise will go directly towards making SUCCUBUS possible at the Fringe, covering essential costs including rehearsal space, venue hire, technicians, set and costume, accommodation, transport, marketing, and registration fees. These are the unavoidable realities of bringing a high-quality show to the world’s largest arts festival.

Your support will allow us to focus on making the strongest, boldest version of SUCCUBUS - a show that spooks, delights, and invites audiences to embrace a more complex, unapologetic understanding of monstrous women! Thank you!
