Feed Manchester is a non-profit group of volunteers who go out on the streets of Manchester City Centre every Friday night, come rain or shine, to deliver hot food, hot drinks, sandwich packs and emergency provisions to individuals experiencing homelessness in Manchester.
One cold November evening in 2015, two friends delivered 14 cups of hot soup to the homeless along Deansgate. Since then we have grown dramatically, and now work week in, week out!
Feed Manchester is run by the people, for the people. Our aim is to help people less fortunate than ourselves by raising awareness, taking action to reduce poverty and improving human life.
The number of people sleeping rough in Manchester is an ongoing human tragedy. Feed Manchester provides support to these individuals who are struggling to survive on the streets of Manchester. Good nutrition, hydration and a friendly chat are essential to support our friends on the streets.
Our team relies entirely on donations and the generosity of its members to fund the food run each week, as well as a few static events throughout the year, so we are always looking for sponsorship and donations to keep us going! All funds raised go directly to those living on the streets of Manchester.
Any donations, no matter how big or small, will help us to carry on providing food and support to those who urgently need it. Please help if you can.
Thank you.
