Aim
We need to raise funds to get back to playing football for the new season!
We need an all-weather pitch at our home in Rush Green Road, somewhere for all our teams to train & play matches.
We were raising the funds for this through a Bond Issue and a Crowdfunder Campaign to fund the shortfall but unfortunately due to the current economic climate, the Bond Issue has failed to attract sufficient investors.
We have been given permission for this Crowdfunder campaign to still continue, now raising funds to cover the unexpected costs of patching up our ground and floodlights for another season on our grass pitch.
We will then try again next spring to raise finance for the desperately needed all-weather pitch.
What do we need to pay for?:
- We urgently need to get our floodlights patched up & signed off ready for another season! We had not done this as replacing them was part of the new pitch plan but with that not now going ahead, we need an electrician out very quick!
- We need to undertake urgent summer renovation work to our grass pitch, which again we had left as it was due to be replaced as part of the all weather pitch plan. It will need verti-draining, seeding, feeding & leveling.
- We need to pay for the legal costs associated with our failed Bond Issue.
- Plus other general repairs & refurbishment ahead of the new season.
What do we need?!:
We need your help to raise £10,000 by the close date and if we do that, we will receive £10,000 in match funding from Power to Change - giving us £20,000 to pay for these urgent & essential bills.
What YOU can do to help!:
- Please make a pledge, there is no minimum amount and every single pound will be match funded to help us find the £20,000 shortfall we need; and every single person donating will be listed in the Clubhouse on a permanent reminder and thank you to all those who made this happen; but for those who can afford a little more, we do have some great rewards for larger donations!
