I want to make great fitting, planet-friendly, ethical lingerie to help people feel great in their own bodies.
I created Fawn & Esther out of frustration about not being able to find affordable lingerie in a wide size range that doesn’t have a harmful, unethical production line.
I love the planet. The textile industry is the second largest polluter in the world and produces 20% of the world's waste water. Cotton farming is responsible for almost a quarter of insecticide use despite only using 3% of the world's arable land. I think it's time to reconsider how we produce and buy clothing.
I source fabrics that are currently considered to be amongst the most sustainable fibres in the world. My suppliers in Ontario, Canada and Wales, UK love the Earth as much as I do and only produce and sell organic, recycled, and sustainable fabrics produced ethically in responsible working conditions.
As well as offering a wide size range of ready-to-wear, pre-made undies, for those who have more specific size needs I will be offering a made-to-measure service at prices far more affordable than the industry standard.
I will also be offering a made-to-measure service at no extra charge for breast cancer survivors, including bras that meet Breast Cancer Now's guidelines for the ideal post-surgery bra, and bras suitable for women wearing a prosthesis.
I am working with a small team of models from sizes 6 to 20 to help me launch my first campaign and collection. As someone who has struggled with self esteem and body image all my life, body positivity and self-love are at the heart of my business ethos.
I can’t wait for you to join me on this journey by helping me fund my dream career, and make sustainable fashion accessible for everyone.
