Aim: We have a number of families at our school who are struggling to make ends meet, we are supporting them with food and clothing packages.
The volunteers who run the PTA of St. Michael's school, do so to improve the educational experience of all of our pupils.
We run fund-raising event to provide educational materials, educational experiences in the form of school trips and activities, new equipment for the school and our current project to re-build and upgrade the outdoor education, pond and community garden areas of the school.
We also look for ways to support our pupils and their families through second-hand uniform sales, providing other essential clothing items and, most recently, support packages to meet the current cost of living crisis. These packages provide food, essential items, clothing and other donated products that aim to ease the burden on our school families in need.
