Family Sponsored Bike Ride 2026

Aim
We're cycling on Sunday 10th May to raise funds to prepare the field behind school for a play area! Support us and donate if you can! 🚴♀️
The children (and adults!) of Great Ouseburn Primary School are taking part in the Lions Sponsored Family Cycle again this year. The cycle is between Great Ouseburn Cricket Pitch and Boroughbridge Primary School, with riders encouraged to ride as far as they can - whether that's all the way to Boroughbridge and back (12 miles!) or simply just to the first marshall, who can then bring you back to the start in the bus.
It's a brilliant event, enjoyed by everyone.
All sponsorship funds will go towards preparing the playing field behind school to be used as a play area. Please help us reach our goal!
If you don’t fancy cycling, please come along and wave off the riders at Great Ouseburn Cricket Pitch and enjoy a bacon butty and cuppa at the same time!
