Now's your chance.
Chana our Brazilian Tapir is eating for two - we're not sure on when we can expect the arrival of this little bundle of joy, but keep posted across our social media channels for a birth update!
In the meantime, Dartmoor Zoo is offering an incredibly rare opportunity to celebrate one of our soon to be, newest arrivals: a beautiful Brazilian Tapir calf. Through this special Crowdfunder, supporters can enter for the chance to win one of just five exclusive Brazilian Tapir experiences.
But that's not all.
One overall winner will receive the ultimate prize, enjoying the exclusive experience and becoming the person who gets to officially name the Brazilian Tapir calf.
The experience will take place in the South America Habitat with one of our amazing Keeper team. You'll be able to meet and feed our Brazilian Tapir family and ask any and all questions to find out about this incredible species. We anticipate the experience will last between 20 - 30 minutes and can accommodate 4 guests per experience. T&Cs apply.
By supporting this Crowdfunder, you'll be helping us continue our vital conservation, animal welfare, research and education work while entering for the chance to name and meet our adorable calf in person.
