Aiming to raise £80,000 or help build new outdoor cricket nets to bring more cricket to our adults, juniors, ladies and girls at Eversley.

On the 17th March 2023 we'd raised £1,480 with 8 supporters in 69 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Eversley Cricket club establishing in 1787 in Eversley Cross within a small village in Hampshire. We run 5 adult male league sides, over 15 junior teams including girls and a hardball and softball ladies team.
We want to encourage as many people in the village no matter your age, gender, background to come and play cricket or be involved in the club. We are a growing club and we don’t have the capacity to provide the highest quality of cricket and facilities for our members and we would like to take the club to the next level so more can get involved.
We are incredibly lucky to have two grounds plus the “Pony field” enabling all of our Junior & 4 Adult sides to be played at our home (with the 5th XI making use of Eagle House School), with our Indoor Training Centre for all of our winter training to take place at our home and in the summer for all of our training to take place at our home.
But we have reached a stage where due to increased demand for hard ball cricket and to enable future growth including in Girls and Women’s hard ball cricket we need to increase our capacity. For hard ball, we now have 5 adult Men’s teams, more than 100 Juniors playing hard ball and a plan to extend Women’s and Girls hard ball cricket going forward.
With this we need to protect our squares and to do this is we need to invest in new outdoor nets and reducing the wear & tear from training so that they are in good condition for matches.
We have therefore decided to invest in a quality four net system that will be located in the Fox Lane part of our grounds (there is no space on Cross Green). The nets will be enclosed by a perimeter fence, will be ECB approved and using the latest technology and design. This will cost in the region of £80k.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Sponsor our nets or PCA day, we have many sponsorship opportunities available to business big, small and growing and we would love to help get your name out in the community.
3. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
4. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
5. Create a fundraiser of your own. Use the button on our page to get started. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
