About me and my project!

Hi! I'm Danielle, I'm a mum to a beautiful 6 month old little girl Samira, and a wife to a supportive and loving husband, Wade.

I LOVE all things artsy and I just cannot help myself when it comes to making something (even if it does take over the house!). 

Being a part of this NatWest competition is not only about growing my business, but it's a personal growth journey too, allowing myself to be more confident in my work and really feel like I am able to achieve something, and running my own business is what I've always aspired to do. 

My local paper, the Grimsby Telegraph has wrote a lovely article featuring me and a few of my makes! 

Everlasting Love Resin is my little creative business, run from my shed in our garden, in my spare time (currently). I love working with a newly-weds beautiful flower bouquets and button holes, as well as creating something special to remember a loved one by. Each piece I create is so meaningful and special to the recipient, it makes creating something much more enjoyable. 

I hope to get this ‘Little’ business off the ground and dedicate more time creating new products.  I have so many new ideas and so much more that I'd really love to create.

Current projects!

Currently, I offer flower preservation in many shapes and sizes (the favourite seems to be letters), memorial pieces such as ashes or pet hair. Breastmilk jewellery to mark the fantastic journey you and your baby have been through together. One of my favourite makes so far, has been the ocean 'COASTers', (I just had to add the pun in there) these coasters use real local beach sand and tinted resin to create waves crashing on a beach, I also make these in charm bead form too, these look amazing on your wrist, and the coasters are definitely an eye catching piece on your coffee table. So far, I’ve only sold on a small scale, as all projects are made to order, but I’m hoping to make some stock items that are ready to sell. Here are some of the Ocean inspired products!

How will the money be spent?

This AMAZING campaign which is backed by NatWest, ‘BACK HER BUSINESS’, helps women with a business start-up idea close the gender gap on setting up yourself – for good! They’ll pledge my first £50, from there I need to find 10 or more supporters to take my total up to £550, if I reach this, NatWest will pledge the final £500 to hit my target!

There's more opportunity for my business to receive further funding, the more support I have on my page, the more likely I'll be selected as one of the winners of this competition to win £10,000 from NatWest, how incredible!

My target goal is £1000, and all the money raised from this campaign, will go towards:

• Eco friendly packaging
• Materials and tools
• Advertising 
• Craft and market stalls
• A website
• Crowd Funder’s fee

My goal is to be able to expand my product range, and create new ideas to sell, from stock and custom orders, and of course one day, to open my own shop where I can design, create and sell my pieces straight from there!

What happens if I don't reach my target? 

I'm hopeful that this wont happen, but if it does, don't worry your money will be refunded back to you and unfortunately you wont receive your rewards. As this is an 'All or Nothing' campaign, I will only receive the donations if I reach my target. I will need 10 or more supporters to donate collectively £500, once I reach this amount, NatWest will pledge £500 to reach my goal. 

How do I claim a reward for pledging? 

Once you've pledge to my business, you are then able to claim the limited number of rewards available. Once these have been claimed, no more rewards will become available, so hurry to snap those up before they are gone. 

When I've hit my target, I'll start creating your rewards to send! If you've chosen a reward that contains wedding/funeral/christening flowers, or pet hair or ashes, you will be responsible for paying the postage. If you've chosen rewards from stock products such as beach coasters, products with just colour, I will be in touch to finalise the details before creating them. Each piece is made to order, so please bare with me as I'm sure I will be busy at the end of this campaign.
