‘Constellations‘, a theatre production written by Nick Payne & directed by Jack Gregory, is performing at Edinburgh Fringe 2025!
Constellations:
The creative, cast and production team are proud to present an adaptation of Nick Payne's Constellations, performing at Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August in The Space UK!
A quantum physicist and a beekeeper meet at a barbecue. In this single moment, an unfathomable multitude of possibilities unfold. They hit it off or they do not, they go home together or perhaps they do not, in the multiverse with every potential future ahead of them, a love of honey could make all the difference. This version of the play will follow six actors, following both heterosexual and homosexual relationships.
Jack Gregory (director) describes the narrative (originally written by Nick Payne) as a "heartbreaking love story with the persistence of the indomitable human spirit... I hope that the audiences having the same [moved] feeling leaving the theatre as I have each time I've left the rehearsal room".
This production is brought to you by Exeter University Theatre Company (EUTCo). We look forward to welcoming as many of you to our portrayal of this "incredibly thought provoking play" (Cormac Richards, Theatreplays.uk) this summer!
EUTCo's Previous Productions: Last year's previous production of 'Dinner' was highly recommended by audiences and critics alike, with sold out shows throughout its two-week run. Theatre Plays UK gave 'Dinner' five stars from Cormac Richards and Paul Smith, with Richards praising it as "exceptional" and as displaying "a cast without a weak link, and working as one." We aim to achieve the same level of professionalism, and create another performance which leaves its mark on our audience this year. Join us for this journey through possibility, romance, and a very soggy barbecue!

we want to raise£1000 to help out together our performance of 'constellations', if this goal is reached, our lovely team has agreed that the top 5 members will participate in the ice bucket challenge, so if you’d like to see some chilly cast mates please donate before the 5th of August 2025!
