We're still collecting donations
On the 11th September 2021 we'd raised £1,531 with 80 supporters in 43 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

2021 Flags at the proms was another huge success. We handed out 1000s of flags to a very sympathetic audience. The flags were very visible on the TV and got reported by the media not just in the UK but other European counties as well. Thank you everybody for your support.
We are keeping this crowdfunder open. Any money raised will be used to purchase flags to hand out at the proms in 2022 and other events that make sense for us to do so.
According to the express we caused fury. Mission accomplished we say.

It’s that time again; we are in the run up to The Last Night of The Proms, and what has now become its own tradition. The EU flags team will be ready, with European flags to be handed out to prom goers as they arrive.
2019 was our most successful year. We gave out 50,000 flags, which was noted in the press as a “take over”, turning the Royal Albert Hall into “a sea of blue” which secured press nationwide and in Europe serving as an effective soap box to make the case for touring artists.
This year is crucial. Lockdowns are easing and artists are facing an unfolding nightmare with border restrictions and visas. We feel very strongly about this so we are joining forces and supporting the ‘Let The Music Move’ and ‘Carry on touring’ campaigns that are closely working with The Musicians Union and Incorporated Society of Musicians.
We all must take every opportunity to keep this topic in the media and put pressure on our Government to follow through with their commitment to artists. It is paramount that we keep the pressure on and do not allow our artists to fall through the net.
Enough is enough!!
PR STUNT: MAKING AN IMPACT ON THE LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS
We have a flashmob orchestra and other performances lined up (although we are still open) We are expecting a lot of press
We will also be launching the biggest twitter storm to date - a new and highly effective initiative where artists can upload their video messages of support. These short vids will also be captured and used as part of a press package. There will also be an opportunity for public support and to target your local MP’s. Further details of this action will be made available on the Thank EU for The Music facebook page and ‘Let The Music Move’ website.
The more funding we raise, the more we can achieve and, inevitably, the louder the noise we can make. This year we are determined to go one step further but instead of just raising money for flags we need funds for the following:
This is a huge opportunity to make a real impact…Any contribution will be gratefully received. Thank you for your support.
