To hand out EU Flags at the Last Night of the BBC Proms
For 4 years, #EUflagmafia have crowdfunded and distributed EU flags to compliment our wonderful Union Jack and other European and International flags and the first Last Night at the Proms was the FIRST TIME that any remain group had done anything en-mass, it inspired a whole raft of remain groups to form and we are now in a position even with brexit looming, the largest and most active pro EU movement the UK has ever seen. Why? Because we now understand what we could lose, especially in a no deal brexit which even the governments own figures show would be a disaster for the UK
This is why our EU flags at the Proms event 2020 is even more important, especially if we are out. Not only is it an obvious two fingers at johnson and his right wing bunch of extremists, but also a statement of our desire to rejoin the EU. If the advisory referendum were to be held today, remain would win, hands down. Yet many still believe they voted for bozza to get brexit 'done', that on the 31st of Jan it will be finished forever, never to be spoken about again and Brittannia rules the waves once more. They are in for a very rude awakening when actually they find out that brexit will go on for a generation, in the news everyday while the same people voted to take away their own right (and the right of their children) to live, love, study and work in 32 countries. Reality will hurt.
We want to send a clear message to our friends in Europe that the UK is pro EU and will increasingly become so as the realities of brexit kick in. So this year we are asking you to be generous so we can send this loud and clear. The UK is Pro EU and wants to be a part of the family of EU nations working together for peace and prosperity.
