Aim
Andrews are holding a fundraising week to help transform the lives of vulnerable young people with safe affordable housing.
Andrews are proud to be charity owned. Through Andrews Charitable Trust, our majority shareholder, we're transforming the lives of vulnerable young people with safe affordable housing via our [establish] project. Our fundraising week is 8 to 14th July 2024.
[establish] provides high quality, safe and affordable housing to young people vulnerable to homelessness (often care leavers), helping them grow into fully independent adults. Andrews Charitable Trust partner with local youth support organisations who provide ongoing weekly support to the residents.
The [establish] project currently houses 21 young people in 7 properties (11 units)
Our South East Lettings team are doing a whole host of activities to raise their collective £1,000 target. From virtual cycle rides to Paris, bake sales, clothes sales and Darts!
The collective £5,000 raised by the whole group will fund 10 deposits for [establish] tenants when they move on to the private rental sector. Saving for a deposit is challenging for many young people, making this support essential.
