Who are we?

North Down Boxing Club has been far more than a boxing gym. Over the years, It has been a second home for hundreds of our local children and young people.

It is a place of safety, discipline, and opportunity. We are a club rooted in our community and committed to helping young people realise their potential, both inside and outside the ring.

Founded on the principles of respect, hard work, and inclusion, the club has supported hundreds of young people from across North Down. Many arrive lacking confidence or direction. Through boxing, structured coaching, and positive role models, they develop self-belief, physical fitness, resilience, and life skills that stay with them long after they leave the club.

Our Goal

We are raising £10,000 to replace outdated gym equipment with modern, safe and accessible fitness equipment that will benefit young people and the wider community.

Our current cardio equipment has served us well but is now aging and in need of replacement to ensure we continue delivering high-quality training in a safe environment.

Our fundraising appeal is being supported by Sport NI’s Olympic Legacy Fund, which means that to reach our target of £10,000, we need to raise £3,500 from our supporters. Once we achieve this, Sport NI will pledge a further £6,500.

To ensure a successful campaign, all supporter donations must be made via our Crowdunder page.
