Epsom Chess Club: Marcus the Chess Teacher

Aim: We are a dynamic, diverse and welcoming chess club based in Epsom, Surrey. Launched by Marcus 'the Chess Teacher' Gosling in 2018.

Epsom Chess Club is a community of individuals who share a passion for the game of chess. We gather on a regular basis to play, learn and socialise. Our club promotes and expects a non-judgmental and supportive attitude from all participants. Whether you are a seasoned player or just starting out, we welcome you to join us!

In conjunction with the 'Marcus the Chess Teacher' YouTube channel, we are raising money to further our vision of making our club as exciting and inclusive as it can possibly be, with a particular emphasis on supporting women and juniors.

At Epsom Chess Club, we believe that chess is more than just a game. It is a way to connect with others, challenge yourself and have fun. Our club offers a variety of events and activities for members to enjoy, including tournaments, lectures and social gatherings.
