Aim
Epping Forest Green Party can win more seats this May but we need the financial backing of our supporters to do this!
Epping Forest District Council has officially confirmed that local elections will proceed this May. This is our moment to turn our record-breaking membership numbers into a powerful local presence.
We know that the Epping Forest Green Party can win more seats on the District Council in Buckhurst Hill, Whitebridge and Loughton. We could even target other areas and seats at County Level!
But to do so, we really need the financial backing of our supporters to help fund the work we need to do in the next 10 weeks….
As you know, the Green Party of England & Wales is not sponsored up by oligarchs, fossil fuel and technology companies, or secretive billionaires. This is where you come in.
If every Green Party member donated just £5 to this fundraiser over the next few months, we would be within reach of our £2k target. Money that is essential for printing and delivering leaflets, running social media campaigns, distributing posters and boards, and so much more.
Epping Forest is reaching a breaking point and the politics of hate and division so prevalent at the moment in areas such as Epping need to be defeated. Help us select and elect candidates to:
- Build a community where everyone is welcome and belongs
- Defend our precious forest and green belt
- Protect our wildlife from illegal hunting and habitat loss
- Crack down on fly-tipping and litter
- End the debt cycle and ensure council tax is spent on the community
We are ready to expand the amazing work we have been doing in Buckhust Hill and deliver real change and provide genuine hope. We know that residents in Epping Forest want to see more Green voices on our councils at all levels. Help us to make that ambition a reality on voting day in May!
Note: While it would be amazing if anyone was feeling very generous and wanted to donate over £500 (or £1,500 over the year) we need to let you know that we are required to run electoral register checks on people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know (who will make this available on their website).
