Who are we?

Welcome to Bournemouth Bears Baseball Club, established in 2017! With three championship victories under our belt, we're proud to be a fully inclusive club, boasting members from 13 different nationalities. Our diverse membership spans genders, ages, and abilities, making us a vibrant community united by our love for the game. As a self-funding club, we rely on the dedication and support of our members to keep the spirit of baseball alive and thriving in our community. Why are we crowdfunding?

After clinching the 2023 AAA championship, Bournemouth Bears Baseball Club has ascended to the NBL, Britain's top baseball league. While this is an incredible achievement, it comes with increased financial demands. As we step up to the plate in the NBL, we must invest in our club's future. Funds raised through crowdfunding will enable us to enhance facilities for our three adult teams and support the growth of our youth program. Your contributions will ensure that we continue to provide top-notch training environments for all our players, fostering talent and passion for baseball in our community. How we’ll spend the money raised

Your support will directly impact Bournemouth Bears Baseball Club's development. Funds raised will be allocated towards crucial areas. Firstly, we aim to enhance facilities, ensuring our players have top-notch training environments. Additionally, investments in equipment will bolster player performance and safety. With our transition to the NBL, umpiring expenses have surged. Your contributions will help cover these costs, ensuring fair and professional officiating during games. Every penny raised will be diligently utilized to elevate our club's standards and competitiveness in the league. Together, we'll take the Bournemouth Bears to new heights on and off the field. As interest in less mainstream sports grows, it's crucial for us to enhance our facilities and equipment. By doing so, we not only provide opportunities for existing members to thrive but also attract new participants, fostering a love for baseball within our community and across the UK. How you can play your part

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
