Enhancement of outdoor areas

Aim: Our goal is to create engaging, inclusive, and inspiring outdoor spaces where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Help Us Transform Our School’s Outdoor Spaces!

We’re raising funds to improve the outdoor areas at Shotton Primary School —and we need your help!

With your support, we hope to raise as much as we can to develop:

🌿 Outdoor Reading Dens – Cosy, sheltered spaces where children can enjoy books and storytelling in the fresh air, promoting a lifelong love of reading.
💪 Outdoor Gym Equipment – Fun, age-appropriate fitness equipment to encourage active play, build confidence, and support physical and mental wellbeing.
🌼 Improved Green Areas – Enhancing playgrounds with natural elements like planting beds, shaded seating areas, and sensory zones to connect children with nature.

We believe that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Outdoor spaces are vital for children’s creativity, wellbeing, and social development. With your help, we can make our school’s grounds a place where every child feels inspired and excited to explore.
