After filming last month we need your help to editing of our documentary End to End and to get it shown here and festivals abroad.

End to End is a short documentary on the past present and future of the Fleetwood to Knott End Ferry Service.

This service is the last of its kind in the whole of Lancashire and has been running for over 180 years serving through both World Wars, two pandemics and the rise and fall of the maritime industry in Fleetwood.

Now however amidst financial pressures, declining passenger numbers and a battle with nature itself, this service could disappear within the next couple of years.

Our film charts the Ferry's incredible history as well as the people connected to it through past as well as the crew that run it today. We wanted to document this incredible piece of living history before it was too late. During our research we have been very grateful for the knowledge and support of the local community both in Knott End and Fleetwood.

We shot the film 4 weeks ago and now we need your help to get it looking and sound the best it can be as well as getting it shown locally, nationally and internationally.

Of the £1500 we are seeking to raise 50% (£750) will go towards covering:

-Editing and Colour Grading

-Sound Design

-Original Music.

The other 50% will be used to have a local showcase screening on the Fylde Coast (£400) which will also run alongside other films shot and made by people from the local area giving a voice to local talent. The remaining amount (£350) will be used to fund our entries into festivals both in the UK and abroad.

Also to mention that while £1500 is our target the more funds we raise the more festivals we can enter and more we can get this incredible story out there.
