EveryDoctor is collecting staff testimony, and putting pressure on Wes Streeting to end the corridor care crisis for good.
Patients are being treated in corridors.
Without privacy. Without dignity. Sometimes without basic safety.
This is happening across the NHS, not just during winter pressures, but throughout the year. Corridor care has become a visible sign of a system under severe strain, and it is unacceptable.
EveryDoctor is campaigning to make corridor care impossible to ignore; to stop it from becoming an accepted norm, and to ensure the voices of NHS staff, patients, and their families are heard.

Why this matters
Corridor care puts patients at risk and places NHS staff in impossible situations. Doctors and nurses are forced to deliver care in spaces that were never designed for it, while patients and families experience distress, loss of dignity, and uncertainty at their most vulnerable moments.
This situation is not caused by staff failure. It is the result of political choices, chronic underinvestment, and a lack of accountability.
If corridor care is allowed to continue without challenge, there is a real risk that it becomes normalised. We believe it must be exposed, documented, and challenged.
What we're doing
EveryDoctor is a non-profit campaigning organisation led by doctors and supported by staff and patients. Since 2019, we have been exposing unsafe conditions, publishing evidence-based research, and amplifying frontline voices to inform the public about what is happening in the NHS.
Through this campaign, we will:
We cannot promise what decisions policymakers will make, but we can ensure that the evidence and the human impact are brought into the public conversation.
Why your support matters
EveryDoctor’s campaigns are seen by millions of people across the UK. Our work has helped bring national attention to patient safety issues and the conditions NHS staff are working under.
When NHS staff and the public come together, it becomes much harder for decision-makers to ignore what is happening.
Your support helps us build that collective voice by funding the research, analysis, and campaigning work needed to keep corridor care firmly in the spotlight.
EveryDoctor does not accept funding from political parties or corporations. We rely entirely on individuals who care about the future of the NHS.
Any funds exceeding our Crowdfund target will be used to continue our work fighting for a better NHS for all NHS staff and patients.
