February marks 10 years of En Root and nearly a decade of our beloved En Root van. What a journey it has been nourishing thousands of souls with plant-powered goodness! From day one, our mission has gone far beyond serving food. We’ve become a community pillar through our talks, workshops, outreach and support for local initiatives.
But to keep serving, growing and showing up for our community, we need your help.
For ten years, we’ve funded all our community work ourselves. But the reality of today’s hospitality industry has made that impossible to sustain. Independent restaurants everywhere are struggling under rising costs and a lack of meaningful support. We’re fighting to stay open, stay present and stay En Root.
That’s why we’re launching this Crowdfunder.
The Aim; to raise £20,000, which will go directly running low-cost community events, workshops, talks and outreach, with our message of nourishment, culture and connection. Any additional funds raised will go towards costs of running the restaurants and funding a new van, helping us keep inspiring and uplifting the people we serve.
