This page is designed to help cover this years website renewal costs, ensuring that our website is kept afloat.
Empoword Journalism is an online-only, volunteer-led publication seeking to unite and empower female and non-binary journalists from all over the world. Set up in 2020 during the pandemic by a group of 20 like-minded young journalists who wanted to document their experiences, we have recently celebrated our second anniversary. During this time, we have amassed over 700 active contributors, and a team of around 40 editors.
Volunteer-led, Empoword receives no external funding, with all contributors and editors working for free. This page is designed to help cover this years website renewal costs, ensuring that our website is kept afloat, and in turn, enabling our lovely contributors to continue pitching and writing articles for us. We'd really appreciate your contribution, however big or small!
