Who we are

Women's Community Circle

Our mission is to create inclusive compassionate spaces, and a rich network of opportunities, where women from ethnic minority backgrounds feel connected and empowered to lead meaningful lives. We envision a prosperous and inclusive society that is enriched by the contribution of empowered, educated and skilled women.

I am Philomina Noel a Social Entrepreneur, women's advocate, community connector and the founder and Director of Women’s Community Circle. My passion is to create a network of support services and meaningful opportunities for women in need. My calling is to be a voice for the voiceless women in the community.

What are the Problem

  • Difficulties with finding opportunities that help them create meaning in their lives
  • Lack of knowledge of the support or opportunities available to help them grow and fulfil their potential
  • Deteriorating motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and mental health state
  • Lack of a supportive community

The Solution

Bespoke 1-2-1 mentoring and support
We offer bespoke guidance and support to help participants clarify their needs  and create a personalised action plan

A network of support services and opportunities
We connect participants with our network of partners and collaborators to find learning or volunteering opportunities to enhance their employability skills, self-esteem, confidence and mental health state.

Peer support groups
We facilitate weekly peer support groups to help participants stay on track, find and maintain motivation and feel part of a diverse, compassionate community1686315106_group-women-smiling-together-feminism-teamwork-concept_53876-27955.jpg

What we're trying to do

We are trying to support marginalised women from different ethnic and racial backgrounds including  asylum seekers, refugees & migrants.

To train 30 women with no recourse to public funds (NRPF’s) with skill training to be social entrepreneurs and earn a living for themselves and the family.

We want to run a free employability skills training programme, to help women gain the skills and confidence to move into work. The 4 week programme, open to women being supported by local charities, covers a range of workplace skills including admin, customer service, events, social media and marketing, as well as learning about Volunteering.

Trainees shadow our team members to gain experience of being in a workplace and to help build confidence. We also provide support to develop CVs, job applications and interview practice.

Why this is so important

These sessions will help women to develop personal and professional skills to increase their confidence and  benefit their wellbeing. This will also give them quality certificates which will allow them to work in different areas of society, including people who may be at higher risk. We would alongside our partner organisations, support women into meaningful voluntary and paid employment opportunities.

How it's going to happen

By donating you would be not just helping a woman to educate but to make her independent to look after her own and family needs. By helping them to educate with skill training we can empower the women in need (WIN) to build their confidence, identity and self worth and reach their personal potential to work.

Thank you and we hope you can donate and help our project. No donation is too small for us! On behalf of Community Women's Circle we thank you all.
