To support women who have experienced domestic abuse to rebuild their confidence enabling them to reclaim their financial futures.
Who are we, and what is our project about?
Embrace: People – Futures – Change is a social enterprise based in Norfolk supporting people in our community primarily through coaching, but also ongoing support, mentoring and signposting. We strongly believe that everyone deserves a chance to shine and to have the future they want and deserve. We have the strap line ‘Supporting you to become the best version of you’, with the main aim to support people who are perceived to be or feel marginalised or disadvantaged within the community to be the best they can be.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Supporting women who've survived domestic abuse to regain control of their wellbeing so they can rebuild their lives and have the confidence to pursue their hopes and dreams and gain the skills to enter back into education/work to enable them to become financially stable and independent to support themselves and their children fear of not being able to be financially safe and secure for themselves and their families is one of the reasons some women find it hard to leave abusive situations.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Helping women to become confident and resilient, so that they can enter into training/education or the work place in a sustainable way, so that they can become financially resilient and independent. We will do this through delivering a series of group coaching sessions, supporting the individuals to build confidence, self-esteem and self-belief and have hopes and dreams for the future, along with good communication skills etc, we will them identify women who are ready for and would benefit from more intensive 121 coaching support and offer them a minimum of 6 sessions to further support them in fulfilling their personal and financial goals and being able to support their children.
