What is Yere Dzikan?

This charity delivers a leadership programme for young women in their final years of education. The programme offers face to face and telephone mentoring meetings, motivational stories presented in schools, work shadowing and work experience, and book donations consisting of important life knowledge and educational textbooks. 

Yere Dzikan delivers this support to the O'reilly senior high school, Labone senior high school, and Accra Wesley girls, all based in Ghana, Africa. 

Who are we?

We are KCMM, a group of university students who want to aid support to Yere Dzikan, we truly want to raise awareness and support this charity as we believe every women should have access to extra curricular recourses for a better education and career. Yere Dzikan means 'taking the lead', we value this message and stand behind empowering women to excel in their education and careers in the most crucial stages of school. 

What is our goal?

We would love to raise awareness for Yere Dzikan, in support of their amazing and inspiring work. Our goal is to reach £ 250 donations so Yere Dzikan can continue delivering mentorship and recourses to various schools in Ghana. We will also be raising money for Yere Dzikan during our bake sale event happening on the 26th of March 2025 2-5 PM, taking place in the University of Westminster (Marylebone Campus)
