The Cause
As most of you already know I’m trying to raise money for an operation I urgently need to remove some tumors that have grown around my liver and spleen. The operation is called Histotripsy and is only available to me in America right now at a cost of $50,000 which I just don’t have- and have no way of getting hold of.
I was diagnosed with Stage 4B cervical cancer in December 2023 and had an operation in Jan 2024 at Preston Hospital.
Subsequently I haven’t had any chemotherapy as we decided to watch the disease pattern and wait to see what it did and honestly all my consultants have been surprised that it’s taken over 2 years for anything of consequence to reappear especially since I’ve been on no standard chemotherapy treatments.
There has always been the expectation that the cancer would reappear somewhere and my feeling is the following -
Cancer started in my cervix 2022.
Then Spread to my left ovary 2023.
Formed a 15cm x 9cm tumor 2023.
Operation removed 99.9% of disease but left teeny tiny cancerous cells on surfaces of organs 2024.
Cancer has grown on the surface of these areas slowly over 2 years 2024 - 2025 .
Tumors have grown and now need targeting and cancerous tissue of tumors destroying 2026.
Histotripsy is the best way to target these tumors Perhaps some surgery if anything left
Perhaps some targeted chemotherapy if appropriate
This is just what is in my head and I’m in the process of seeing what is surgically/ medically possible post histotripsy
I’m also continuing and possibly ramping up all the complimentary treatments I’ve implemented over the last 2 years which I do feel have helped to slow the progression of the cancer - unfortunately these have been incredibly expensive and I haven’t been able to save anything over this period. I have spent almost double what I raised initially in my gofundme in 2023/4.

I’ve always said that I want to be able to help other people who find themselves in this position and there have been times over the last 2 years that I have reached out to people with similar late stage organ cancers and have offered my support and have been told that they weren’t interested in speaking with me as I wasn’t ‘cured’ so what was the point?
I think it’s important to realise that not everything needs to be cured - sometimes things just need to be managed. None of us are getting out of here alive so the point is to live as well and as best a life you can for as long as you can and I believe this operation coupled with everything else I can possibly do to support my body is my best chance of this. I want more time with my daughters- Isabella is 19 and off to university and probably sick of me anyway lol but Violet is only 7 and she needs her mummy to be here for as long as humanly possible. (Joking Isabella needs her mum too!!)
I have to fund the operation myself as it’s not yet available via the NHS in the UK.
It will be widely available in a few years time like it is in America but unfortunately I don’t have the time to wait whilst the tumors continue to grow and cause irreparable damage.
I have set up a gofundme to raise money for the operation and people have been so incredibly supportive and generous but I still have a long long long way to go to reach $50,000 so I’ve decided to do a luxury prize giveaway.
