I will continue to support Emily’s medical needs in the future.
Emily was born as a normal baby and at six months old she had her first seizure. Than she started having more and more seizures and her epilepsy got really severe. She’s been on so many medications to help her control her seizures but nothing has worked because she is drug resistant. When she was two years old doctors found her diagnosis which are SCN8A epilepsy, Global Development Delay and Autism. Her development is like a 9 months old baby, she can’t walk, talk or do anything by herself. Her condition is very rare and kids with this condition have a high risk for dying in their sleep. Having this this surgery now for us is a big hope for Emily, for her to have less seizures and to have a better quality of life. Thank you 🙏🏻
