I am challenging myself to swim 70 kilometres throughout July to help raise funds for new equipment at Brighton surf lifesaving club.
I am challenging myself to swim 70 kilometres throughout July to help raise funds for new equipment at Brighton surf lifesaving club. I joined in 2022 and have since been able to compete in national competitions and earn my surf lifeguard qualification through the club.
While still training with the club, I also volunteer as safety cover for younger children helping them enjoy the sea and develop their water safety skills.
None of this would be possible without the vital rescue equipment which has helped me learn the necessary skills, but now it needs desperately replacing.
I am doing this challenge to help raise funds for the club, and would be really pleased if you could sponsor me through this crowdfunder :)
