Send a grieving Derbyshire family on Retreat to get the help they need after the tragic loss of their 8 year old daughter, Emily

In November 2018 the life of little Emily Connor, aged 8 was suddenly cut short in a tragic accident, witnessed by her grandmother.

She leaves behind her Mum, Julia, Dad, Danny and two older brothers, Hugh (14) and Charles (12)  – who all adored her. As did everyone. She was an angel.

Emily was my daughter’s best friend and our two families have shared many happy times. The Connors are known for their open-house generosity and Northern humour, hosting so many memorable Xmas and Halloween parties in our neighbourhood. Emily really was an angel, indiscriminate and unconditional in her love for everyone and everything. At her funeral the phrase “Be more Emily” was birthed…reminding us all what a shining light she was and encouraging us all to be as unconditionally loving as she was.

Emily’s brother Charles is autistic and in order to be there to look after him his mother and father cannot work full time - but they are always cheerful and ready to help others in need.  We wish to extend help here also. Susie has been approached by a Harvard Medical School Professor, who is a leading Authority on Autism and the Alternative approach. He has invited Susie to Harvard to study her Work. Susie is ready to see if Charles can be included in these studies in lieu of her fees. He stands to receive hundreds of thousands of dollars of top expert help in the world.The impact on Charles after Emily’s death is particularly hard, as she was his world.

A few weeks ago, I had the incredible good fortune to spend a weekend on Retreat in Somerset with World renowned Award-winning spiritual development author, mentor and healer, Susie Anthony. That weekend changed my life. I was mentored and attuned by Susie to her own unique form of Super-Reiki and I feel and look like a different person after just that one weekend. Life and all the challenges of being a working Mother no longer seems at all daunting. I have mental clarity, emotional resilience and a new-found sense of spiritual connection. I feel like I have taken on a super power - that I can do or be anything. And my kids love their new ‘Super Mum’. I am now booked to do three more.

Emily’s parents have noticed such a profound change in me that they have expressed a desire to go on retreat with Susie, and to have both their boys attuned to Super-Reiki. After seeing the changes in me and long conversations about all I learnt, they can see how much it will help them all through such a difficult time – and beyond. This will involve separate visits for Julia and Danny (as they cannot both be away from the boys at the same time) plus dates when the whole family will go together.

This Crowd Funding campaign is to start make that dream happen by: 

• Sending Julia, Danny, Hugh and Charles on retreat with Susie in February.

Susie has already offered a reduced rate for this and donated £500 towards costs. I so desire this amazing family to heal and to flourish and to also move forwards with plans they now have to help other youngsters to THRIVE and of course “Be more Emily”.

One of the attunements for the boys will take place during the very first session of an exciting new initiative for parents and children called ZERO TO HERO. Zero to Hero is to be launched in their hometown in April 2019, Supported by local business and with celebrity endorsement – I know Emily would be so proud of her brothers leading the way for children all over the world.
