Morocco’s children are still facing immense hardships—recovering from poverty, displacement, and the devastating earthquake that uprooted families and shattered communities over one year ago. While winter in Morocco doesn’t bring freezing conditions, it still poses significant challenges for children already without access to basic necessities like safe shelter, warm clothing, and a secure environment.
This winter, your support can transform lives. At Moroccan Children’s Trust (MCT), we are working to provide essential care, resources, and emotional support to the most vulnerable children and families in a region with very little infrastructure and assistance. MCT operates services from Centre Amane in the city of Taroudant and provides additional programs across the province of Taroudant and the region of Souss-Massa.
But we need your help to continue this work.
Why This Appeal Matters
Over a year after the earthquake, many families remain in temporary shelters, struggling with the financial and emotional toll of rebuilding their lives. Vulnerable children, especially in rural areas, face heightened risks of malnutrition, neglect, and educational disruption. We are one of the few organisations able to provide local assistance and have gaps in grant funding that need to be filled.

- £25 supplies school essentials to a child, ensuring their education continues.
- £50 supports a family with critical supplies, like food and hygiene products.
- £80 provides resources to Centre Amane to process ID registration paperwork.
- £100 gives families tools to rebuild with the assistance of a social worker.
