Due to the fantastic success of my PPE for frontline staff push, I'm now looking to dramatically increase the scale to meet with demand.

by Antony Lane in Farlington, England, United Kingdom

I'm asking the public of portsmouth.and surrounding areas to help me on my quest for vast amounts of protective PPE for our amazing frontline workers. I've been getting thousands of items of PPE including faceshields, masks, and nitrile gloves out to the amazing Portsmouth hero's. I'm stocking care homes, hospices, local hospitals, social workers , nursery workers and many many more who receive little or  no help and are unable to get supplies.

The demand has been substantial and I am close to running out of the equipment I personally paid for and provided . I've provided equipment to well over 275 care home staff members, 460 NHS frontline staff including children's ward at the QA hospital, delivery drivers social workers and many more.

These people are doing amazing jobs in our communities and sadly risking their lives to keep us all going. I cannot ever be thankful enough for what they do and sadly a lot have little or no protective equipment.

With the help of the amazing people of Portsmouth I'm looking to expand the level of PPE that I can offer to protect even more of these fantastic key workers from COVID-19. Please donate what you can afford and together we will save lives and protect our selfless workers suffering a PPE shortage.

These are unprecedented times but together, we are stronger, and the response is coming from communities across the country.

Volunteer groups are springing up to tackle the logistical problems faced in our communities – but they need urgent support. That's where we come in.
