Devastating floods set to displace thousands of families in Sri Lanka. We're raising funds to provide food parcels and tarpaulins ASAP.

Intense flooding has already hit our communities in Sri Lanka, with hundreds of thousands of people set to be displaced as a cyclone rips through the 26th and 27th of November, with heavy rains expected for a week. We'd like to be ready with food parcels for families - particularly those with children under the age of 5 - and as many tarpaulins as we can get a hold of to help.
We've been contacted already by several local NGO officers to see if we can help.
Our food parcels will cost about 6,000 Sri Lankan Rupees each (approx. £17), and will contain: 5 kg rice, 5 kg flour, 1 kg dhal, 2 kg sugar, 1 milk packet, 1 tea pack, soap, 2 packs biscuits.
