Nomad Opening Doors has been working to support those at risk of homelessness for the past 30 years. In that time we have helped 1000s of people to transition positively and effectively out of homelessness and into safe, secure accommodation.
Our work is now more needed than ever before as the Cost of Living Crisis bites and people face evictions when they cannot pay rising rents. To help clients this winter we want to provide emergency food parcels for anyone who is struggling to choose between heating and eating.
These food parcels will ensure that our clients never go hungry this winter.
Our client group has been affected by numerous different disadvantages which contributed to them becoming homeless. Care leavers, mental health issues, racial discrimination and domestic violence are just some of the issues our clients have faced. We do not want to add hunger to this list.
Your support could ensure vulnerable adults in our community have enough to eat this winter.
£10 could buy 3 meals for someone who cannot afford to buy food
£25 would allow enable us to provide a food parcel of non-perishable food
£50 would provide a weekly shop for a vulnerable adult in our community
