Daniel “Dan” Banks Nachmias is an entrepreneur, investor, and single father who brings together real-world business experience, elite performance coaching, and lived parenting insight to reimagine modern education.
Over the past two decades, Dan has built and scaled multiple businesses across education, wellness, property, technology, and network marketing - operating internationally across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and the US. His career has been shaped not only by success, but by deep reflection on what truly creates long-term health, clarity, resilience, and fulfilment.
A defining influence in Dan’s journey has been his extensive work in personal development and performance psychology. He has invested heavily in mentorship and training with some of the world’s most respected leaders in human performance, business, and mindset, including Tony Robbins, Patrick Bet-David, and Andy Elliott. Through this exposure, Dan developed a deep understanding of how habits are formed, how beliefs shape outcomes, and how discipline, emotional intelligence, and focus can be trained. These skills are rarely taught early in life, yet are fundamental to success in health, business, and relationships.
Despite professional success, becoming a father reframed Dan’s priorities. Raising his son as a single parent while living internationally exposed him to the limitations of traditional education systems - particularly for children who move countries, learn differently, or struggle to maintain consistency amid constant change.
Dan recognised a powerful insight:
the skills that transformed his adult life - mental resilience, self-discipline, emotional regulation, goal-setting, financial awareness, and personal responsibility, would have radically altered his trajectory had they been taught earlier.
Today, Dan is the founder of Elysian Minds, a platform built to combine curriculum-aligned education with life skills, emotional intelligence, health literacy, and digital safety, delivered through engaging, gamified experiences that compete with - rather than lose to - the digital platforms capturing children’s attention.
His mission is to apply the same principles used to build high-performing adults to help children develop strong minds, healthy habits, and self-belief from the start - so they are better equipped for school, life, and an increasingly complex world.
