 New stretch target

Challenge 1 - London to Bristol Walk:

On the 11th May 2024, I will be starting a long 7-day walk from London to Bristol (where the charity was founded), whilst dressed as a BALLERINA/FLAMINGO, of course!!!

Challenge 2 - National 3 Peaks Challenge:

My third attempt at the National 3 Peaks Challenge will be this July 13-14th. This involves summiting the 3 highest peaks in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) over just 24 hours! ... also dressed as a FLAMINGO, of course!!!

Challenge 3 - Brighton Marathon 2025:

6th April 2025!

Who are Flamingo Chicks:

Flamingo Chicks is a multi-award winning charity and inclusive community giving disabled and ill children the opportunity to explore movement through dance. From a small community group founded in 2013, they have become a national force championing inclusion for disabled children.

Their new celebrity backed campaign highlights the loneliness disabled children face with 45% regularly feeling lonely and 15% feeling lonely every single day. That means 270,000 disabled young people in the UK feel alone 365 days a year.

Help be the solution by supporting Flamingo Chicks. With our multi-faced programmes, they are providing opportunities for all.

Personal Connection:

Dance has been a hugeee part of my life and something which has got me through some of my most challenging times with my mental health, so I know the power that it has to improve well-being, self-worth and provide a needed space for self-expression, which everyone should have access to.

I also have the personal privilege of managing Flamingo Chicks' Agents of Change Programme, which promotes youth advocacy by empowering children to be active change-makers and realise their potential. The group have spoken at high profile venues such as 10 Downing Street and the United Nations in New York, and campaign to bring about change in their own communities.

Your Support:

Please help us get 11,000 young people moving through our inclusive dance classes, and amplifying the voices of disabled children across the globe.

Your support will ensure they can continue this important work and reach even more communities over the next year.

If you don't feel able to donate at this time, I am equally encouraging of you taking the time to look at the charities work on their website, asking questions, and helping us create change in your day-to-day lives by promoting the importance of a truly inclusive world.
