Refugees Rock Ellesmere Port - Christmas Fundraiser
Refugees Rock is a community of climbers welcoming people seeking sanctuary. We run free monthly climbing sessions at The Climbing Hut in partnership with Heart4Refugees, bringing together local volunteers and newcomers to the UK for friendship, exercise, and all the joy that climbing brings.
We're fundraising at The Climbing Hut's Christmas Market on Saturday 13th December to help keep our Ellesmere Port sessions running strong.
What we're raising money for:
Our biggest challenge is getting participants to the wall. Many people seeking asylum live in temporary accommodation without transport, so we need to hire a minibus to bring them to sessions. Your donation means more people can access our welcoming community and a chance to experience climbing.
Every pound goes directly to supporting our Ellesmere Port group.
