Aim
We provide a venue and support for elderly people who want to come and meet old friends, make new ones, be entertained and enjoy a hot meal.
We have just moved to new premises. We want to take advantage of this fantastic facility to improve our offering to the local Teddington community. By providing daily activities and a hot meal at a community centre, we can reduce loneliness, improve health and fitness and reduce the need for individual day care at home, particularly for the old and vulnerable. By donating now you can help:
- provide a subsidised hot nutritious meal,
- cover the costs of a day outing for those who would otherwise rarely leave Teddington,
- cover the costs of activity leaders and equipment that will help keep attendees entertained, fit and healthy
- ensure we can offer our excellent facility to other charities and community groups at reduced rates
