Ella's Marathon

Aim

To help my swimming club raise money to build back up after a difficult 12 months, bigger and stronger and my team mates can all swim again.

I am passionate about swimming. It has been my favorite thing to do since before I could talk, and that has been a long time! I have been swimming with City of Wakefield Swimming club since I was 7 years old. It is like a second family to me. 

Before the Covid pandemic I was swimming 5 days per week and competing on a weekend. I have really missed it.

I want to help raise money for the club to rebuild and become even stronger after a difficult 12 months and I don't want anyone to be left out. If we can raise enough money then we can supplement fees and offer concessionary places for those who need it, who have been hit financially by the pandemic. 

I don't like running much at all so this will be a difficult challenge for me. I will run a marathon over 5 consecutive days, that is an average of 8.5 km per day! Please help me by donating. Every little helps.
