Ella's 2027 Jamboree journey

Aim

I am raising money to represent Wiltshire and the UK at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027

Hello! My name is Ella and I am one of 32 scouts to have been selected to represent Wiltshire at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Gdansk, Poland in 2027. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet scouts from around the world, learn new skills and discover other cultures as well as make new friends. It is also about promoting scout values like peace, unity, teamwork and friendship!

The Jamboree is the largest global outdoor youth event where around 40,000 scouts from around the world gather together at a 10 day camp to meet each other, exchange stories and learn about cultures from around the globe.

In order to attend, each scout from the UK contingent must fundraise £3500. If they do not suceed in raising that amount, they will not be able to attend and will unfortunately no longer be eligible to attend in the future. As well as covering the travel and expeses of the trip, the money to go to support scouts from less afluent coutries to be able to attend as well!

I would truly appreciate your support on my journey to the World Scout Jamboree.
