Help elect Elizabeth Carr-Ellis as the Scottish Labour MP for Angus and Perthshire Glens

by Elizabeth Carr-Ellis in Montrose, Angus, United Kingdom

It's been 14 years of Tory chaos and 17 years of SNP disasters – but these two parties still think they deserve the votes of the people of Angus & Perthshire Glens. Well, I think voters deserve better.

Scotland is my adopted home – it was the place I became me. The place I found my husband and a whole new family and incredible friends. The place I found peace.

It's easy to go and look at the hills and the mountains and the countryside in this part of the world and be awestruck. In fact, it's impossible not to. It's when you look behind, dig a little deeper, that you'll see needs that are not being met by the UK Tory Government and the Scottish SNP Government.

Scotland is being let down twice: by London and Edinburgh. That's why I'm standing for Angus & Perthshire Glens. Because I know a better way is possible.

Labour helped my family break free of the cycle of poverty. It gave us the opportunities my parents and grandparents and great-grandparents never had. The chance of an education, of healthcare, a better standard of living…

I came late into politics because I cannot stand by while new generations suffer the way I suffered. Now I'm asking for your help because together, we can bring the change our country needs.

Campaigns cost money. If you are able, please donate so we can give the people of Angus & Perthshire Glens a strong voice within a government that will deliver for working people. No matter how small, your donation can make the difference.

Help us deliver a government, not a message.

Thank you
