Elephants, Giraffes, kids taught in tin, an opportunity to inquire within .
I believe that at if first you don’t succeed, then try, try and try again (and keep on trying). I have had to fight for a lot in my life and was the first woman in my Father’s family to go to University. My dream is to help save the environment and contribute to repairing the damage that humanity has done, whilst educating people to live in harmony with its natural surroundings.
I have now been given the opportunity to do something truly amazing and take a huge step forward in my career, by undertaking an expedition to Kenya led by Colonel Blashford - Snell (OBE). I have successfully managed to raise a large proportion of the costs, however I still have that little bit more to fundraise.
I need your help!
Therefore I am offering my skills and knowledge of exploration, expedition planning and fundraising advice to groups, schools and individuals, at an event of your choosing.

I am an emerging wildlife and documentary filmmaker, science and history communicator and explorer, working voluntarily and professionally in the film industry for a number of years. I have a MA in Social Anthropology (Specialising in Visual Anthropology) and a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies and Classical Archaeology. I also run a small voluntary documentary Production Company, in which we give our assets to causes and charities that are represented in the films.

Below is an image from 2014, when I got the opportunity to present at the Royal Geographical Society. On the same stage as renowned explorers and scientists such as Charles Darwin and Shackleton!

The expedition is for wildlife conservation and humanitarian aid, made up of an expedition team with a variety of skills and knowledge including, engineers, biologists, armed forces personnel, teachers nurses, doctors and dentists.
Exact tasks will include:
On the culmination of the expedition, a report and a completed expedition film will be made available for the Royal Geographical Society and the Scientific Exploration Society. The film will also be submitted into adventure film festivals.
Being able to raise money to live off and fundraising for expeditions are very different; therefore I have been doing a lot of extra activities, including tombolas, car boot's, raffles, small grants and selling handmade craft items, including nut squirrels!

If you would prefer not to have a presentation, but would still like to support me and follow the expedition, you can pledge a smaller amount and I’ll send you a postcard on my return and copy of my personal expedition report.
