Help Eleni Tucker Reach her Art Foundation

Raise the funds to pay for an Art Foundation course.

To our amazing Kingsdale community, we are asking on behalf of one of our brilliant students for your help and support. Please take a minute to read her story below. We know and appreciate that these are very hard times for some of our families, however any contribution (no matter how small) that you could make would be hugely appreciated. We have very high hopes for Eleni and we know she has a bright and fantastic future ahead of her. With your help we can set her off on the right path, in order to help her fulfil her potential. 

Hello, my name is Eleni Tucker.
Due to personal reasons, I have spent most of the last academic year homeless and sofa surfing. This caused me to fall behind in my A-Levels, because I had to miss a lot of lessons, to attend meetings with the housing officers. As a result of this, I am in the middle of retaking my final year at Kingsdale. Over this year, I have been working really hard to catch up with my subjects, especially Art, which is my greatest passion. I would love to go onto an Art Foundation course in September, and follow my creative ambitions, however I am currently not in any position to financially support this option. As I will be 19 by the time I enrol, I will unfortunately not be eligible to attend for free, and would have to pay £5000 for the course fees.

This year, I have been trying my hardest to raise this money by doing a variety of Art commissions, but as I live alone, a lot of my savings must go on my rent and living expenses, and it has been proving difficult to raise the whole amount by myself. I was hoping to put on an exhibition of my work, to raise funds, but due to Covid, that has not been possible.

I have now decided to set up a Crowdfunding page. I would be hugely grateful for any donations you could make, to help me pursue my passion.
