Aim

We need to raise £2,000 to get Rosie Rawle and Emily Kerr elected to Oxford City Council in 2022.

Green Councillors in Oxford are making a real difference. In the last year, Greens have secured support for a pioneering city council policy on trans rights. Our Councillors backed Oxford becoming the first city in the country to explicitly prohibit housing discrimination against benefit claimants. And we've been at the heart of efforts to clean up transport - pushing for low traffic neighbourhoods and better active travel infrastructure.  

But there's only so much three Greens can do. That's why it's vital more Greens are elected in May 2022. 

In the Green Party no matter how hard we work, no matter how many times we’re proven right, the cards are stacked against us. Our rigged electoral system means Greens have to fight even harder to make the change we want to see. We don’t have the money or the resources of the bigger parties.

That’s why we need you.

In May 2022 we will be fighting elections for Oxford City council. 

Rosie is standing in Donnington ward. In 2021, we gained one of the two seats in this ward from Labour. We missed out on the second seat by just 60 votes.

Emily is standing in St Mary's ward for the City Council. St Mary's has been held by the Greens for many years. But a longstanding Green Councillor is standing down this year, and Labour always campaign hard to take it off us.

Both of these seats are winnable. But to get there we need your support more than ever.
