Aim
We are running this prize draw to raise money for our chosen charity, Family Focus Staffs, to go towards children's Christmas party etc.
The Prizes
- Roland - Chord synthesizer J-6 - Kindly donated by local legend Kev Willis.
- Two copies of the awesome "Love the Tentacle" vinyl by friend of the Tentacle Sword Swinging Robot, from Modulate in Colwyn Bay, there is one red vinyl and one white vinyl (two separate prizes), the robot only ran a small press of these so they are pretty rare - Kindly donated by Sword Swinging Robot.
- Electric Tentacle 2XL T-shirt - Kindly donated by Pablo Cruz from EMOM Mexico and Colin from Electric Tentacle, Pablo doesn't know he's donating this, however it was sent to him in Guadalajara Mexico as a gift, but he wasn't able to collect it in time and it was sent back to us in the UK. We'll sort Pablo another T-shirt out when he returns to play at Electric Tentacle again.

The Cause
Our chosen charity which will receive all funds raised (minus any platform fees) will be Family Focus Staffordshire. Family Focus are a fantastic charity based in Birches Head which is not far from the Artisan Tap where we hold Electric Tentacle in, Stoke-on-Trent. What is Family Focus? "Founded in April 2015, we are a charitable incorporated organisation committed to ensuring that every child and young person receives the necessary opportunities and support for success in life.
Our mission is to empower them by fostering an environment that nurtures their potential, enabling them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals, fostering a brighter future for all."
Funds raised will go towards things like Christmas parties and events for the children who use the services of Family Focus.
Our last prize draw in 2024 raised over £1,200 for Family Focus.
How to Enter
There are a couple of ways that you can enter the prize draw, one entry = £5, you can enter as many times as you like:
- You can donate for a ticket in person with cash at the Electric Tentacle EMOM events at the Artisan Tap on Thursday 24th September, or Thursday 29th October (the evening of the draw), or at the EMOM community table at Synthfest in Sheffield on 24th October.
- You can donate for entry tickets here on our Crowd Funder page via the links provided and pay via various payment methods.
- There is also a free entry route where you need to write to us to gain entry.
Entrants can be located anywhere on planet Earth, however you need to be 18+ to enter.
We will cover shipping costs if you are not at the Electric Tentacle EMOM event on the 29th October to collect your prize in person.
On-line entries will be open until 12 noon on the day of the draw (29th October), in person entries will be open until approx. 8pm on the day of the draw. Draw will be held at approx. 9pm on the 29th October. Free entry route entries need to have arrived with us no later than the 28th October.
