Aim
To recruit and pay a campaign manager to deliver a Green MP for Worcester at the next General Election
This is the Green Party’s time: 200,000 members, second in the polls, leading among under 50s, leading among people in work... and winning by-elections.
In Worcester, the prediction is that Worcester Green Party will be neck and neck with Reform for electing an MP at the next General Election. Exciting… but we have to be frank with you: we don’t yet have the funding to win. Winning at a General Election is extremely expensive, that’s why Worcester has returned a Government MP at every election for 50 years. Who we get as our MP is dictated by multi-millionaire and billionaire donors who fund Labour, Conservatives, and now Reform.
You can change that. We know how to win in Worcester: we won more councillors than any other party in 2025. We won more votes than any other party in 2025, 2024 and 2023. We have hundreds of members and activists already campaigning to win. What we don’t have is someone who is 100% dedicated to running our campaign. Someone to raise all the money we need to win. Someone paid to deliver a Green MP who will stand up for you and Worcester in Westminster. Someone who will focus on scaling up our campaigning.
Your donation will go directly to paying for a campaign manager. We need to build a whole team to put into action what the Green Party learnt from Bristol, North Herefordshire, Waveney Valley, Brighton Pavilion and now Gorton & Denton. £30,000 will cover the campaign manager's first year’s salary. We need to hire now because one lesson we have learnt is that winning elections takes years of hard work: to elect a Green MP, we must start now.
