Toby Cooper works in the hospitality sector in Holmfirth and is a local musician. He has been brought up in the Holme Valley and has lived there all his life.
If elected as a Councillor he will listen to people's concerns, keep in touch with regular newsletters and be your voice on Kirklees Council.
As someone who is used to engaging with many local people on a daily basis he is confident that he will be able to keep you informed about local matters and be available when you need help.
There are many challenges facing young people today such as finding somewhere to live that is secure and affordable. Young people are also often neglected in the decisions taken by politicians at a national and local level. As a young person he want's to be a voice for them too.
His three priorities are
Improving the communications on the Holmfirth Town Centre Improvements
Protecting our Green Belt from development
Using the small councillor budget to support community projects
During the election campaign he will try to see as many of you as he is able and to visit the many villages that make up the beautiful Holme Valley.
Please support his campaign to be Holme Valley's first Green Party Councillor on Kirklees Council.
