Raising funds towards the campaign to elect Green councillors in wards across York and MPs in York Central and York Outer
We are raising funds towards electing Green councillors in wards across York and Green MPs for York Central and York Outer in May 2015. The Green Party stands for the common good and we want York to have representatives committed to sustainable environmental policies, a fairer economy, and proper consultation with the people they represent to ensure their voices are heard.
Thanks to past generous donations from supporters we have raised enough money to cover the deposit in both Parliamentary constituencies. However, we still need donations to help to cover our other campaign costs. In particular, we require help to cover the costs of producing campaign leaflets so that we can spread our message further and capitalise on the ever-increasing support for the Green Party and our policies by making real gains in this election.
The momentum behind the Green Party is truly extraordinary - new members have been joining in their thousands and polling indicates the Party is more popular than ever before as more and more people hear about our policies. With your help, we can make sure that York gets the progressive representatives it deserves.
