Elect Steve Davies on 11th June

Aim

We need to raise funds to cover the cost of election communications and leaflets for the by-election in Christleton & Huntington

Support Steve Davies, our amazing candidate in the Christleton and Huntington Local Council By-election here in Cheshire West and Chester.

Steve was just 24 votes short of gaining a Council seat when he campaigned in the May 2023 local elections. He was pipped to the post by the two Conservatives, one of whom has since become a Reform Councillor.

Steve would be an incredible Green Councillor - he is hard-working, principled and compassionate. He stands for social and environmental justice and he is fearless in standing up to ignorance and bigotry. Steve has supported hundreds of residents over the last few years, speaking out for communities and helping individuals. 

This by-election is now a chance for us to win the seat we nearly won last time.  But we can't do it without you!  To get the message out we need to distribute leaflets, print posters, and organise volunteers. This all takes time and money. 

Reform has deep pockets. We don't. The Greens refuse to take money from any individual or organisation that is in any way corrupt or damaging to people and planet. We rely on the kind donations of our members, supporters, friends and family. 

Your contribution, however big or small, will make a massive difference.

As this is a party political fundraiser, you will be asked for your name and address. We're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this information available on their website. Donations go to the local Cheshire West and Chester Green Party.
